Program Details
In an effort to properly evaluate our current offerings in the Diesel program we are not accepting new students into the program for the 2025-26 academic year. Depending on the review of the program, we may resume offering our regular two-year curriculum starting in the 2026-27 academic year. Are you interested in the way machine systems work? Do you enjoy troubleshooting engine problems and repairing lawnmowers, cars, trucks, or other machinery? If so, you may want to check out our Diesel Technology program. Diesel Technology involves identifying and troubleshooting problems in diesel engines and repairing them for a range of transportation industries. Clark's Diesel program will prepare you for entry-level positions in the diesel technician trade. You will learn how to work on brake systems, drive trains, electric and electronic circuits, hydraulic systems, and diesel engines. We've kept current with industry changes through new and improved training in basic electronics and electrical systems, so you'll be equipped to enter the industry upon completing your diesel program. You can also opt to use this certificate program as a launching point to move into our Associate of Applied Science Diesel Technologies program.
