Are you someone who enjoys a job that gives you the opportunity to work on a variety of different tasks and projects within a healthcare setting? If so, you may want to explore becoming a medical assistant. Medical assistants support doctors and other health care professionals by clerical duties like completing data entry and filing, greeting patients, as well as performing clinical duties like collecting blood samples, and measuring and recording vital signs. Clark College's Medical Assistant Program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, and graduates of our Medical Assisting program are eligible to sit for the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) Certified Medical Assistant Examination, a national certification for Medical Assistants. This is a selective admissions program, and a separate application is required, so make sure to talk to an academic advisor to ensure you are best prepared to apply!
